Founded in 1992, Ealing Independent College was originally a tutorial college specialising in preparing students for entry into Medicine and Dentistry at top UK universities. Since then the College has transformed into a leading independent College in West London preparing students from the age of 13 up to 19 for higher education through the GCSE and A-Level programmes, specialist Medical Science and Business Programmes.

Students can choose from a wide range of subjects, which ensures a good breadth of disciplines within the programme. Each student’s programme will consist of at least eight GCSE subjects, and all students are encouraged to follow a programme leading to the English Baccalaureate.

Most students will study four AS subjects (an examination or pass at advanced subsidiary level, representing the first component of an A level qualification) in the first year, and three (sometimes four) of these subjects at A-Level in the second year.

Specialist Courses

Medical Science

All students who are contemplating studying Medicine, Dentistry or a related discipline at university are automatically enrolled on the Medical Sciences Programme at the College. This Programme is overseen by the Head of Science who has particular experience in securing places for students at top medical schools in the UK and internationally.

The Business Programme at Ealing Independent College is offered to students who want a business-related focus to their choice of A-Levels, as well as their future studies and career. The College offers A-Levels in Business Studies, Economics, and Government and Politics.

International Life

EIC helps international students settle into life in the UK through a full induction into British culture and customs, as well as brief them on the British education system. The College will also ensure students get to know London well, and will regularly organise trips and excursions in and around the city.

Student Accommodation

Ealing Independent College ensures that all of the international students live comfortably and with easy access to the College during their time with us. In the heart of Ealing and a 10 minute bus ride to the College, we offer excellent student accommodation in a beautiful victorian townhouse that allows students to live alongside other international students from around the world in an independent setting. Students will be under the care of accommodation staff who look after their safety and welfare. For younger students they can also organise for them to stay with local host families.
